I am having an issue where I cannot mute people in game. When the game starts, the little mute icon shows as muted for everyone but does not actually mute anyone. Muting and un-muting does not do anything. Basically I no longer have anyway to shut my idiot teammates up.
The only way I can play this game is by muting asshole teammates. This bug is ruining my life lol
I've heard that this is a visual bug in game. Have you tried to click the 'mute' button once and seeing if that works?
Basically, the symbols mean the opposite of what they did prior to the patch - if you see the classical 'mute' symbol, it actually means they're unmuted and vice versa.
You can think of the buttons as 'action' buttons, not 'status' buttons for now (i.e. the icons show what you want to do rather than the mute status of the player).
I had and saw this issue. From what I found, it's actually a visual issue where they have it reversed. Like normal everyone is unmuted, so when you click to mute them they will be muted but the icon will now appear as the unmuted icon instead of the muted.
