Not sure this is exactly a bug, per se, but the free mystery champion you gave out for the facebook connect thing said I owned all the champions and gave me a skin for Ziggs. I still had 11 champs left to fill in my roster at the time of the mystery champion unlock. (Hecarim, Fiora, Ahri, Graves, Skarner, Rumble, Urgot, Mordekaiser, Kog'Maw, Kassadin, Corki)

Personally, I'm left unsure of how I feel about the switch, mostly because I don't use Ziggs a ton, but I'm not exactly upset about getting a very fancy skin, just letting you know for the future or for historical record, or something, that the mystery giveaway didn't work exactly as advertised.

If you had more than 10 champs left unowned and you would rather have one of them gifted to you I'm sure you can submit a ticket to Riot and see about getting it fixed. However, in my opinion I'd take the skin seeing as you can just save up IP for champs and you got a skin for free in case you really do decide to pick him up.

You need to have a certain number of champions available in order to get the mystery champ. If you own a large majority of the champions then you get a skin instead. I don't remember the exact number though.

happened to me as well, i have 6 champs left to unlock. 2 of which are 4800 champs. rest are 6300 champs.

im not mad or anythin bout it, just kinda weird that we wouldnt get one of those champs left when we still had some left.

i got battlecast velkoz.

I'm here to clear some things up on how Mystery Champion gifting works.

To get a Mystery Champion, you must have at least eligible 10 champions remaining. Champions below 520 RP can not be gained through a Mystery Gift, so do not count towards that total.

If you only have a few champions left, it wouldn't be much of a mystery would it? Also, if you spend 490 RP and get a 260 RP champion, that's not a very worthwhile gamble. They want the skins you get to be worth equal to or more than you paid.
