Fiora and Shen's W

Playing aram and even though i was in my w fiora was able to auto attack me and q, death report had both q and e as culprits in my death and i saw both used while i was in my w. anyone else had problems with shen's w not blocking things (i can understand the q cause is spell but applies on hit, but e shouldn't cause damage as its empowered basic attacks)?
