Sona + Thunderlord's Decree = Impossible?

on the PBE when the new mastery keystones first came out, Sona could proc Thunderlord's Decree with just one Q and AA (the autoattack and the proc from her Q both counted as a spellcast). I just played a game where I assumed it was patched out, but I didn't proc it once in an entire game of 25 minutes unless it was just 3 autos in a row... Did the ability get recoded specifically to not work with Sona, or is this an unintended bug of attempting to patch out the prior interaction?

To bring a bit of light to this bug, it's actually a bug that seems to be caused by multiple Thunderlord's Decrees in the same game, or something to that degree. Other posters have also tried bringing attention to this specific issue:

  1. [Gameplay] Thunderlord's decree not proccing
  2. Thunderlord's Decree not working on Teemo, Homeguard bug, and Luden's Echo change
  3. Thunderlord not activating on Grgas

This bug was actually reported before this patch went live from the PBE by myself and others:

We'll just have to hope that this bug is fixed ASAP and that Riot Games has noticed this bug and is working on it. (Though they understandably have their hands full with the mass of changes still incoming.)

This, you can get away by auto resetting with your passive, but that gives the enemy a larger window to strike back

My friend had PBE access and confirmed that Thunderlords would proc with a Q cast and a powerchord proc, was incredibly dissapointed to find she couldn't on live I think it may be due to the same reason why DFT does not proc on most passives and some spells

Same with lucian, i had a game where the masteries wouldn't proc a single time...

hm, i figured out that it'd always proc when you do an auto attack, and right after that your q + powerchord auto attack reset. it gives alot of burst, wich i thought is pretty great, but i'm also wondering why it's not applying on sonas Q buff, since it counts as spell damage for spellthiefs..
