Kled and Guardian Angel

Played against this frustrating op champ the other day,and he bought a guardian angel. he finally died,after killing his chicken twice,lo and behold,his guardian angel triggered and he came back. problem? he had a huge shield,blocking about 50% of his health as the one he initially gets on spawning. i know guardian angel is supposed to give you 33% of your hp so this can't be right,is it?
