This has happened the past two games for me. It's a little strange. I am playing as Teemo try to do some Camouflage cheese strats and I think the game thinks Im AFK due to my prolonged period of not moving.

Yes, this is due to you not moving as Teemo. Remakes can happen so long as someone is marked as being AFK for at least 90 seconds, and standing in one place for that long will mark you as AFK, even if you don't physically disconnect from the game.
Technically it is not a bug as the system is working how it was designed to, but I'd say it's definitely something Riot could look into for improving the remake system.
