ping option outside game?

i now finished game where i couldnt do anything. reason was that i had 1000+ ping since 10th minute after that i checked ping on web and avarage ping acording that website was 60 +/- 20 . So can you add in game ping indicator to client that will give players idea wheather is good idea to play? btw i used to play with 1 guy who before every game started custom just to check ping. or atleast link to page which will provide this service inside settings.
