Ban Button doesn't highlight

I just joined a que. I was first ban the ban came up I clicked on Blitz. It selected blitz but wouldn't let me press ban. I then selected a bunch of other champs it would select those champs but no matter what it wouldn't let me ban them... so it made me dodge =\
