It is possible to use Fiora's W to parry Malz's ult, and the damage portion of his ult continues on.

So in a custom game today I parried a malz ult, and for some reason the damage portion continues on after my parry even though I successfully parried it? Pretty sure this is a bug.

yeah because you parried the tether but it will still spawn the %hp void pool

This is intended, the same thing happens when you use cleanse or quicksilver sash. You just got to get out of range of his ult to stop the damage.
