League Client (entire game window) Disappears After Game Finish

Every game, after each game my client window disappears, however the program icon is still showing in the taskbar. when i click on it to close it from taskbar, i can see a tiny tiny sliver of what should be the visible game window. idk whats going on but its pretty frustrating to have to task manager - end task - close - and relaunch game after every game just because i have no active window and the "are you sure you want to quit?" message keeps me from alt+F4'ing the window or closing it by any other means.

Reeeeealllly annoying.
