So I decided to get some RP, I only use PayPal because I don't trust my credit card info being directly stored. Don't take this the wrong way, I just don't feel so safe. ANYWAY, I tried to use the PayPal option, however when the link opens to the page all i get is some weird page with question marks and letters and crap. I have absolutely no idea how to replicate other than open a paypal rp option (i have tested on all options).
I'm having the same issues. There are a bunch of strange characters. I find it strange that riot hasnt responded to the many threads complaining about this. At least just to tell us if the issue is on their side, or paypals.
Today I literally spent 2h to buy RP. I don't know but at the end I think I got lucky and managed to open the page w/o any problem. Other than that Paypal method is pretty f...ed.
I used a credit card, no fraud. I don't think they store it unless you check a box. If you really want RP you could buy a prepaid card from a local convenience store and then use that one. I've never used Paypal but I want to start using it, so I can't help you on that. :/
