Vel'koz Q Goes Through Fiora's Dash

I'm not sure if this is caused by the small delay between using Vel's Q and reactivating it, or Fiora's dash itself.

  1. Vel'koz fires Q at Fiora.
  2. Fiora dashes.
  3. Vel'koz splits his Q as Fiora dashes.
  4. Fiora is not hit by any part of Vel'koz's Q.

Are you sure this is a bug and not lag? Vel'koz Q seems to behave very oddly in ping > 60-80, i have seen it visually split twice or go way off course.

Fiora dash does not make her untargetable, and it has definite travel time, not like a yi dash.

No, it wasn't lag... She dashed, so I instinctively pressed Q again to split the beam in case she dashed either up or down a bit... Only she dashed right through it. Happened twice during the match.

I believe it's just how his q works. I've noticed that if you stand in exactly the spot where it splits, you won't take damage. That's how I usually dodge it when I'm too close anyway. So if you split it early, then you created a window for her to dash through.
