Hextech crafting issue

If you own every champion, why can you get champion loot from crates? And when you disenchant, you get an amount of essence toward that, I'm guessing, champions?

That's silly. I own leblanc and NOW, I can use hextech crafting to...unlock...

LeBlanc? I own every champ, every rune, every rune page and I have over 40000 IP. I don't need champ unlocks. Not sure what the solution is since this is Rito giving free stuff, but what am I supposed to get out of it then? It's fun, and in a way cute, but really aggravating to get loot you can't use. Ever.
