Winter Wonder Lulu - Recall

I'm of the understanding that in Winter Wonder Lulu, when she recalls, she's supposed to turn Pix into a balloon and float off - however, whenever she hits Pix to turn him into the balloon, the actual Pix still remains floating above her and the balloon Pix appears, rather than actual Pix inflating and becoming the balloon Pix.
