Soraka's silence despawning projectiles

I've had multiple instances within a single game of Soraka's silence despawning a projectile that was already in flight. I was playing Kalista, and I would throw my Q as she walked up to silence. When the silence pool hit the ground, my projecile despawned, but my ability went on cooldown. I was also unable to hop from throwing the spear, but Kalista completed a hop as soon as I walked out of the silence pool. I haven't tested Soraka's silence's interaction with other skillshot projectiles yet, so I don't know if it's a one-off spaghetti code interaction only between Kalista and Soraka.
