Was force dodged from champion select due to...something?

So in champion select I was 2nd pick on the red side, and the person above me didn't pick a champion until it hit exactly 0 seconds left on the timer, and that's when the client paused for me, aside from me being able to still change runes/masteries/intended champion, and summoners. But after about 25 seconds the client suddenly showed the person above me picked a champion and 2 seconds later I was kicked (despite the timer showing 22 seconds for me) saying that I failed to pick a champion.

Anyone else have this?
