Really annoying Taliyah bug

I've done this several times already and end up getting screwed by it and I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one.

Whenever you teleport with Taliyah if you use your E right away it goes in the opposite direction of your mouse.

I've tested it with Annie's W to see if it was a teleport or really just Taliyah and it worked fine.

It's really awkward when you go back to base and then teleport to lane to push your opponent out and then you E towards your tower and just stand there like "uhhh"

Were you teleporting from base or from another lane when you noticed this and which direction were you using E relative to the TP starting point? Towards it or away? Also were you trying to buffer the E before the teleport finished or only pressing it once the teleport had completed channeling?
