This bug has been affecting me for a while now

I thought it was just my computer, and that there wasn't much I could do about it, but apparently it's being experienced by others as well. When you die, there is a split 1-2 second freeze that is very jarring. Example right here: https://youtu.be/_VW4E5Ia56w?t=2m42s
