Zed ult into Black Shield bug

Just had a game where I was playing Morgana. I had her Black Shield up twice during the game before Zed ulted and it didn't stop it.

Please fix, Zed is toxic enough without this happening.

This is not a bug. Morgana's Black Shield only makes the target immune to Crowd Control effects, nothing else. Zed's ultimate is not a Crowd Control effect, therefore Black Shield will not negate it.

Doesn't item 3102 cancel his ult? Black Shield works on the same principle I believe.

Wrong. Banshee's blocks the next enemy ability (save a few, such as summoner spells persistent effects (Anivia ult)) while black shield only blocks a set amount of magic damage, and enemy CC and nothing else.

Yes, Banshee's Veil and the spell shields from Nocturne and Sivir will block the initial cast of his ultimate, but they block an entire spell.

However, Morgana's Black Shield doesn't work like those spell shields. It doesn't actually block any spells. It's a simple shield that blocks magic damage and prevents you from being CC'ed, that's it.

Zed ult = Debuff.

Morg black shield only blocks CC and magic damage.

Debuffs do not = CC.

Conclusion: Not a bug.

I don't think this is a bug. Zed's ult is a not a form of CC and nor does it deal magic damage. The only thing your black shield should be blocking is the damage from his passive where he deals % health as magic damage when you drop below the threshold of 50%.

ACTIVE: Morgana shields the target friendly champion or herself for up to 5 seconds, absorbing magic damage and rendering her target immune to all crowd control while the shield holds.

Morg's shield used to block Zed's ult. If you popped it before he ulted, his ult wouldn't go off and would go on CD. Did it get changed in a patch and I didn't notice it?

I did some more research into it. Spell Shields will completely negate his ult, but Black Shield is kind of the exception. Which is strange because I think item 3102 stops it as well.
