Unusual bug in the client

During a normal start up of the League of Legends client, attempted around 12:50 PM central time today, after logging in I noticed that the summoner icons would not appear, and if I were to hover over them, it would only show bright pink instead. When going through other parts of the client, they would be missing as well. Things such as the background to the help menu, and the entirely of summoner profile page is unable to be accessed. I'm attempting and file repair right now, and will do a re-install if it fails, but figured I should let this be known so it can be looked at, in the event that other players run into it as well.
