Not an in game bug. Just wondering though if this happens with anyone else or if it's just me and if it's with other people why hasn't it been fixed yet?

I've been seeing it too. I suspect that it hasn't been fixed yet because there are probably more pressing concerns. As you said, there's no gameplay effect for this.
I just posted something about this too, it's been like this for a very long time and you are not alone. It was like that during the last free week and i just bought him to see it still wasn't fixed. It does mess up team builder though because if you have the 2nd skin on it says INVALID_SKIN and you have to remake the group.
