Tahm Kench can devour people in Zhonya's

Is this intended or a bug? I think it's supposed to be a bug because Zhonya's removes you from play for both teams and only self casting stuff works in it when its already on (like Swain and Fiddle ults) so having someone else interact with you in Zhonya's isn't very intuitive.
