morde bug with drake

I just witnessed a Morde bug in while spectating a game. Apparently, if Morde gets the ghost from the dragon and recalls, the automatic leash range bugs out and doesn't work. I watched him sit in well while his dragon took blue buff. Again, since it was spectator mode I'm not sure if it was just a bug on my side or if the bug actually happened in-game.
