Darius and Fiora gain their ultimate bonuses even when denied by Zilean's R.

[ Noxian might's buff and Fiora 's AoE heal still trigger through Zilean's ultimate ]

Is this intended? Or can we get a fix? The target is not dead.

I wonder if the bug applies to effect and clones like MonkeyKing Leblanc Shaco.

But seriously, please fix this.

technically you do die. You just revive.

If that's your argument, fine. At least be consistent with it.

Let it grant resets to Khazix MasterYi Katarina etc because the target does die. Don't half ass the coding and have it extremely confusing like what damage goes through Jax E and what doesn't.

Zilean consistently denies resets and "on kill" mechanics, Fiora proccing 1 vital then killing and Darius dunking are the only exceptions which were recently introduced in rapid succession, which is why I figured it wasn't intentional.

There is a reason why those deaths do not count on the scoreboard, supposedly time reversal prior to loss of life.

Darius' Passive Noxian might is granted at 5 stacks or killing the target, the same applies to fiora which is why an extended trade with either is normally just a bad idea.

This.

Granted fiora and darius were recently reworked so they were coded with it, they didn't half ass it they just haven't gone back to the older champs

Ultra Animal4 votes

It is intended, the ults complete on "lethal" damage.

Axis the Dragon3 votes

Fiora's ult goes through as long as she either a) The Target perishes, and Fiora has hit one Vital, OR b) She hits all 4 vitals

I'm assuming it's intended 'cuz technically the target does die, it just revives. xD

Darius doesn't even need to kill anyone for Noxian's Might to proc?? As long as the target has all 5 bleed stacks, he goes into Noxian Might lol

GhostOfShrimpmas1 votes

Noxian Might is his passive, which happens when an enemy champion gets 5 stacks of bleed OR dies to his ultimate.

His ultimate also can be recast if it kills someone, which it does, the enemy just revives.

Axis the Dragon2 votes

Yeah, I know. I typed it out weirdly 'cuz I'm tired as shit, but basically, I was just trying to say that the reasoning for both abilities is the same, i.e.:

There's scenario a) where the target doesn't even need to die to apply the AoE Heal/Noxian Might (all 4 vitals/all 5 bleed stacks), and b) where it procs when the target dies.

Because the procs are consistent with each other, and in most cases where resurrection occurs (Zil's revive being the example in particular here), it's safe to assume that this is functioning as intended (or to the extent that spaghetti code allows, anyhow)

Idk who downvoted me but it sure as hell wasn't warranted xP

Fiora's heal field also triggers on a GA. I noticed this earlier today actually.

Steelflame2 votes

Considering it also goes through GA, it seems to be intended.

Sniper 02 votes

Happens when Zac has his passive up too. :/

Also, if you ult a clone (Shaco, Wukong, LB) and proc at least one vital before the clone dies, you get the heal.

Didn't you post this already? o.O

Smitty Manjensen1 votes

Something unrelated but you can remove Fioras ult with QSS canceling it whole.

Learning moment1 votes

Read the abilities..... fiora ult procts if you hit all 4 vitals whether they die or not.

Photos of Ghosts5 votes

-.- but also if the target dies, read abilities.

Learning moment1 votes

Fine let me edit that for you, i wasnt implying that it didnt happen when they die that is obvious for anyone who has played with a fiora, thats common sense.

maikokk4 votes

are you trolling, or just oblivious? hes obviously referring to the ult heal proc after 1 or 2 vitals on "death"

also that's little overboard on the aggro attitude even if you knew what you were talking about.

Learning moment1 votes

He was stating common sense... that was the whole point of op's post that you can proct it even through non deaths.

Photos of Ghosts1 votes

The fact that the target pseudo-died and got instead revived is not in any way a proof that it has been hit 4 times. So no. You're stating pointless things, thus the safest assumption was that you didn't understand anything of the OP.

It still is the safest assumption.

Learning moment1 votes

ok let me confirm it for you, no fiora ult does not proct when people pseudo die.

This is intended. At least for Fiora.

Idk, I feel like both those ults should work that way. They are both high risk and require execution to function, so if the target just gets zilean'd, it would feel pretty crumby to have the ult negated.I mean, all that damage you did is ALREADY negated.
