Gentleman Cho'gath Animation Queuing Buggy

I canceled more autos in one game than I've ever done in my entire League career while trying to queue up skills with the Gentleman Cho'gath skin tonight. I'm not entirely sure how to replicate it (or even explain it), but my autoattacks just were not going through while I was trying to kite or use Q and W in conjuction with autos.
