A few people have posted about this issue already. When you have many champs of certain types, it doesn't calculate the buff correctly between rounds. Placing champs on and off the field can sort of fix it, but it's super glitchy. Seemed worse when there were spatula-items interacting with it.
Just happened in my game, made liss into a demon and suddenly lost glacial (i had liss and sej on board) and also phantom (i had morde and kindred also on board) wtf??

it just happened to me and i lost the game because of it, and i think youre right its the spatual items, because it started after i put the demon buff item on one of my champs, i kept having to reset my field entirely throwing everyone to the back lie and then back on.

I was down to 1 HP on TFT we were down to 3 players but I had the best team composition and 8+ win stream or more. 2 demon, 2 gun slingers, 3 blade masters, 2 glacial and 2 Hextech. All champs level 2 Atorax, Ashe, Draven, Elise, Fiora, Jayce, Jinx, Lissandra and Lucian
Then the next match where I lost all my team buff icons. The icons on the left were gone they were blank no demon, gun slinger, blade master, glacial or hextech icons and I lost the match almost instantly.
With the items my team had I was set to win on 1 HP but then the glitch/bug happened and lost instantly. I was so shocked how fast I lost I didn't screen shot it.

Same issue here. And here's an example from last game...
I have 3 x Blademasters, 4 x Gunslingers, 2 x Phantom. So many synergies - yet it only registers 2 gunslingers.

Thank you for this. I was gonna post about it, then came on to a plethora of posts about it. This pretty much sums it up tho since (from my experience) the buffs are working on the board, just not displaying correctly.
Yep...this is stupid. Every update this game gets worse...not better. Im done with ranked for a while. Riot needs to get their act together. This is sad.
I just had a game with a yasuo that counted as a yordle instead of a blademaster. He also had 100% dodge.... Some nasty bug.
It is annoying, but from my experience, you still get the buff, it's just hard to keep track of what buffs you actually have. So at least you dont lose power, just clarity.

Happened to me, too. Had a nice streak going with Brawlers, Hextech, Blademaster, Gunslinger. Then I replaced Lucian with Jinx, made her a blademaster and everything was suddenly broken. When it should've been 6 Blademasters, 2 Gunslingers, 2 Hextech (and some others that I don't recall right now), I instead either had no synergies or just some broken once like 3 Blademasters, 1 Gunslinger, 1 Hextech and for some reason Glacial without having a glacial unit on the board. Super glitchy. Replacing units fixed it for one round and it still became glitchy afterwards. :c Hope it gets fixed soon!
same happened to me I could get 1st but just got 3rd bcz of the Buffs.
had this happen to me as well had 100 percent no losses lost my first one and noticed that my demons which i had 6 of said 2 had ranger 2 which i had every round i placed a champ or upgraded one it screwed up that game when i had 6 demons 4 rangers 3 blademasters and that is not what it shows it hasto be a spatula bug cuz it only started happening once i used a spatula to make my one character an assasin i have a pic but im a noob at forums and cant figure out how to post it
Yep i just lost 2 matches in a row due to my synergies suddenly disappearing between rounds and me either not noticing, not ebing able to fix them in time by getting everyone on and off or because i was unable to use my time to spent my gold. The game is basically unplayable for me with this bug. Hope it gets fixed soon.

Happened to me as well. had 7 demons and only calculated 3. one of my champs was also using a spatula item.
Also happened to me in game I was just in. Comp was 6 brawlers, 2 wild, 2 glacial, 2 void, and 1 robot. Removing and replacing champions would fix it for 1 round, but the buffs would fall off again. Had a Ghostblade & a Frozen Mallet in play.

It happened to me, I was running 4 knights, 4 rangers, 2 glacial and 2 phantom. at the end of the round it was just saying 3 ranger and I had to take them all off and back on. but I was on a 14 win streak and suddenly I kept losing so they clearly weren't working.
I have the same issue here, it's insane that my 6 gunners are calculated as 2*[slayer-jinx-unamused]*
Lol i got 4 spatulas to buff my size by 2, then i got a knight item. In the end I was lv 9 with 11 people. 6 knight, 4 imperial, 2 phantom, 3 assassin, 1 ninja. It gave me 1 ninja for the round and I lost. Lol. I was wrecking them before I threw extra people. This is busted. Kinda funny though
This happened to me. I spent the whole time between fights switching in and out my champs that i had 50+ gold forever, which is a silver lining, but when you cant buy champs its useless.
i lost my lp tnx to that, at least take down ranked
