so long story short a friend and i were discussing runes for vayne he preferred attack speed quints to get the bolt proc faster, i said that its highly unlikely people will just stand there and let you hit them or the minions; and if they do something is wrong so ad quints would be better or if its a really rough lane maybe lifesteal would work, but yeah the second i mentioned it he said ad is bad? what are your thoughts?
AS Quints are always better on standard marksmen, but particularly on Vayne, because she has higher AD than normal from her silver bolts. In general, AS is a more efficient way of increasing your early game damage output than AD- that's why you normally take AS runes on junglers as well.
I would think the as would scale better into lategame.
but she gets that 15% by level 6 seeing as she gains 2.90% per level..
i use all speed ruins then in game u got like 1.2 atk right away then u just go all dps
You get higher stats from AS quints and AD marks than the other way around so I stick with those and build items accordingly.
Attack Damage is good for last hitting and early harass but if you just want to farm it out, Attack Speed scales better and is more useful later on even if they may not feel quite as impactful. What's more powerful, 9 more damage on your autos or throwing out an entire auto when they run away?
i have used both as and ad, i forgot to mention that, plus tumble is an auto reset and last i checked condemn applies a stack of silver tipped bolts, idk i guess its just preference while as can be more effective there is no 
tee that you will be able to get that proc off even with the 1.2 attack speed as people aren't going to just sit there and they will probably poke you early if they know what they are doing even with a good early game support and proper positioning odds are you will still get your teeth kicked in, at least that's what they should be doing to a vayne early
attack speed. her early game kind of sucks. th emore attack speed you have more 3rd strikes you can hit. and i like csing with more attack speed to be honest.
