What NOT to do as Ashe

Dear wood 5 Ashe player, or any Ashe player with 1.5 brain cells, Ashe's new kit works very well with attack speed. This does not mean that rushing item 3085 and then item 3087 is a good idea. item 3031 item 3046 is still what you build. item 3031 item 3087 if you don't like it. Just please build with some common sense. Look up a guide or something. Sincerely, your Alistar Leona Thresh that hates you. TL:DR I've seen an influx of feeding Ashe players that build only attack speed. Please don't do that.

But you always build item 3085. Because it is best item.

I'd recommend attack speed runes instead of dmg and rushing item 3031 item 3072 as your first and second item, then get item 3006 then get item 3046 for the crit chance and attack speed after which you get a item 3085 and another item 3046 then get furor enchantment for boots

I only get armor pen if the enemy starts building a lot of armor

I played against Ashe players who build shiv of runaan's first and they always die to me

fyi

item 3085 gets triggered a lot by Ashe 's Q Although each one of the additional arrows from Ashe 's Q won't proc item 3153 Each of the many bolts from item 3085 will proc item 3153 Ashe's Q will shred the person you target with the aa, all the while item 3085 and item 3153 are shredding the tanks on the side.

PLUS throw item 3071 instead of a item 3035 item 3071 will set you up and apply your passive to other targets. One shot from Ashe's Q with the bonus arrows will fully stack BC onto them, and if you have item 3085, the flurry of bolts will fully stack anything else she hits with item 3085.

That's a guide to late game Ashe. Still gotta rush item 3031. Always get damage over attack speed first. It is much more cost efficient with her passive anyway in the early game.

Yeah, Ashe still scales so well with the standard ADC build that rushing Hurricane is really, really bad. Only build it if your team needs the waveclear or your opponents consistently stand close enough together that you'll get all three hits off. Even then it's probably better on a glass cannon build in place of a defensive item because IE + another crit item is mandatory. There just aren't enough item slots for it to be core because you need stats other than attack speed.

EDIT: I've run the math. The AD scaling on autos from her passive only pushes the amount of AD you need before crit chance becomes more gold efficient up by about 10 AD. By the time you have a BF and Pickaxe it's time time to switch to crit.

Interestingly enough, the meta build on ADCs is meta for a good reason.

Tl;dr: Build crit unless you're kalista.
