, so honestly, I have no idea how I'm going to climb this summer (since she either gets banned or I end up not even being able to play mid.
During ranked games, you can either mute your whole team, or actually try to cooperate. I used to be a super nice player and would always be the one to stop arguments but ever since I started playing ranked, I've become toxic af. My tip to you is if you're playing with someone who doesn't know sh-t, you should help them and give criticism in the nicest way possible. I've found that whenever I compliment someone for doing well, they take criticism better and actually improve in game. Also, I choose to rant by talking to myself rather than saying it in the chat and just fake it till you make it.
Seriously though, being positive helps a lot since many inexperienced players just need a bit of love. If they flame you, don't flame back and just mute them. If they criticize YOU, accept it and realize what you did wrong.
One of my goals in the beginning of the year was to spam ranked and get to plat III, but I've started playing normals more and more and on a smurf account. I'd recommend trying out new champs on a smurf because it's fun and helps you decide on good soloq champs in prep for ranked.
I don't know if there is a "good" season to climb but summer is probably the best for me since I have way more time now that school is over and I am able to binge watch the LCS and then try out different techniques I acquire from watching and testing it in a co-op or normals game.
Normals are way more fun than ranked because idgaf about winning or losing. It's my troll hour, and everyone is nicer.
