I'm level 12, and I just got Hecarim today. I'm pretty lost as to how I am to play this guy top (or at all). Any tips or suggestions?
I also have a couple of specific questions: How should I distribute my ability points (such as equals or all into at a time)? And how does his E work? Does it increase the damage of his next auto attack or ability used? Or does he immediately deal damage with that jumping animation? I'm very confused :/
First of all, don't buy champions before trying them out during free rotation. Usually, skill points are used to max one ability first, then the next, then the last (and of course always put points into ult). His E makes him go faster by 25% and ramps it up to 75%. His next autoattack gives him more range and knocks the target enemy back. His attack animation makes him jump. It technically only increases his next autoattack, but his passive gives him bonus AD based on his bonus movement speed, so your Q will also do more damage.
Max Q first then E Usually in any lane matchups, i take ninja tabi or merc threads first into phage> Trinity Force Be sure to take Ignite and Teleport For runes, you should save some IP when you hit lvl 20. Get Amour Pent Reds, Amour/Hp/level yellows, Magic Resist Blues, and Move Speed Quint. I run 21-3-3 on masteries taking the xtra movement speed off the Ultiity Page
Hes pretty basic on mechanics, when you're laning against a melee be sure to spam q whenever he tries to CS. Tell me if you need any more help.
heca is good at lvl 3 have all abilities and then max q after it depends how good are you if you wining max e first otherwise w and remember heca can frelly use all his abilities while moving and his mechanics like this E then R when you in mid of your ulti use W after R lands (always go litle farther with ult so you can push him back with E and this also buff his AD beacuse distance traveled)and just use your Q as max as posible.Remember heca need to be playede agresive and engage first. Oh and bring instead of tele ghost due his pasive ofcourse if u dont play against nasus.And his E also damages enemy towers like nasus or garen q so use it on towers
