Shutting down Fiora

Hello everyone, I've been playing league for a little while now(since this past summer) and I have recently decided to take my gameplay up to a semi-serious level, PVP Games. Now with a little over 200 normal game wins I am somewhat getting a feel for the game and learning some champs. However, there is one champ I just cannot lane against, Fiora. Its like once she gets 6, game over for my lane. I came here to find out if anyone has some tips or advice on how to lane against her. Anything and everything will be greatly appreciated, Thank you!

Push when her lunge is down and try to bait her into using it.

Also.. armor.. lots of armor.

best way to understand how to beat a champ is to play it, i suggest playing a bunch of games as fiora and see how other people beat you...

or you can just play renektion if they pick fiora.

Try building a little bit of early armor. If you can survive the burst from her ultimate at level 6 then Fiora becomes significantly more manageable.

If you're an AP top then rush a seekers. If you're AD top then try a cloth5 start and grab tabis or a wardens mail with it.

Armor, build tanky. I play Fiora often, and am ALWAYS shut down easily by people champs like Jax, or even Gnar (Fiora is incredibly easy to kill if she doesn't kill you first). Also Zac is a great counter for her. Bait her when full health to lunge, then she's easy. Also always use ignite against her in lane (if you know you're laning against her).

Im silver 5 and i managed to beat a diamond 5 fiora with vladimir, but that might be because she was greedy and tried to dive me, i find vlad can counter lots of people, if you know how to play him right. summoner 12 summoner 4

play offensive when her riposte is down and watch out for her all ins. I would recommend you build some early armor and try to force her away from the lane

Fiora has no cc, and is generally weak to good cc, you you can bait her under the tower and just get her stuck there, even after her ult, you should be fine.
