Ideal Hecarim boot enchantment?

I've recently picked up Hecarim jungle because I wanted something different. I've performed relatively well and consistently with him both in normals and high platinum, though I've come to one small snag: which boot enchantments are generally prefered for the pony boy?

item 3284 gives you a little more constant AD (I believe about 6 AD) item 3283 grants the bursts of damage and mobility to ghost more often item 3282 could scale well with him as well withitem 3709 though i've never tried it.

I've been using Alacrity for the consistent boost in mobility and damage, but I'm curious if anyone has tried Furor or Distortion and found success?

If you're not using item 3270 with summoner 6 +summoner 12 combined with item 3800 item 3142 item 3172 item 3031 item 3078 anditem 2140, then you aren't doing it right.

Still, 45% crit chance isn't terrible, especially when factoring in the attack speed from Youmuu's active, Zephyr, and Tri-Force. Maybe a BT would be more beneficial.

I suppose it is rude to go into someone's topic, who's expecting a serious answer, and make silly suggestions which derail the OP. So, apologies for that. (It's not like anyone thinks full movespeed Hecarim is competetively viable.) Down to business then.

  • Your choice of Swifties is a good pick; obviously, this helps Hecarim immensely. However, since the green enchantment no longer has Tenacity, if the enemy has longer lasting slows (or hard CC in general), you're going to run into problems with your passive unless you also run item 3172 . Situational, but a solid pick. If you can't afford Zephyr, and you need tenacity urgently, Merc treads are clearly the way to go.

  • The actual enchantment. Also situational, but I am very fond of Furor.** If you can stick to the target**, Furor is going to serve you well with Swifties. If you don't plan on constantly being on top of people, though, and instead focus on flanking and ganking, take Distortion. The only time I take Alacrity is when I just need that little extra ms to catch someone who's somehow faster than me without E.

  • The one situation where homeguards would be appropriate in a competetive setting, imo, is if you are pushed into your base and need to get a pick or make a hard flank to set up a winning teamfight. (Tip: Homeguards DOES last beyond the base boundaries if you are fast enough, E.G. you could run straght out to lane and loop back around through a base gate before you lose it completely.)

TL;DR: Situational stuff aside, Swifties+Distortion should be a good pick for the occasional ganking and late game gives the strongest viable boost.
