You don't get the skin for free, you unlock it in the store then pay 975 RP to get it.

false, you do get the skin for free if we are able to get 55 million points.

Hovering over the 55 million reward, it reads:

Unlock Pool party Mundo (and ukuleles) for ALL PLAYERS who earn at least one point during Team Up Week!

You unlock it in the store, you don't get it. One of the questions in the FAQ is:

What are the prices for the new pool party skins?

The answer to unlocking the Mundo skin is??? You don't.

It took the community FIVE days just to get past 30 million points. You will not get 25 million more points in 24 hours. Unless Riot's been sandbagging the true total (which it doesn't benefit them to limit where they can encourage us to spend our cash). But join the party. I am sure it could be fun.
