The testing grounds of the Public Beta Environment (PBE) have become the hunting grounds for Kindred, and the community has already been pushing the limits of the champion across almost every role. Below, RedMercy gives his take on how to wreck the jungle as Lamb and Wolf.

I applied for PBE a week before GP's rework hit because I thought having an experience as a GP player who played him a lot as far back as season one might be valuable. I read somewhere that is important when major updates like that come around.

Yeah I feel like a sucker.

Maybe I'll get in for the Taric rework with him still level 2 in mastery though.

applied as soon as i hit level 30 over 3 years ago still check it from time to time then cry my self to sleep

edit: giving hope to people like this is also just mean since many people have waited years to join without hearing anything back

Let me jump in here and provide some further details about the PBE approval process. Our team is primarily responsible for approving accounts going into the PBE, so I can speak to how we determine who gets through.

The history of approvals had been on a need basis. If there was testing needed around a core feature or game mode, we'd look for more PBE players. For example, if a game mode was trying to cater to Silver and below, the team would approve accounts that met that criteria.

In the recent months, we've been seeing a need for more PBE players in general and have attempted to approve applicants in waves anywhere from 2-4 weeks. If your LIVE account is in good standing over the last 6 months, there is a good chance for approval. That being said, there still remains a deep pool of applicants.

Moreover, recently, our team discovered a bug with the script identifying who to approve. Now that we know of the issue, we hope to resolve it soon and continue the approval waves.

I hope that helps clear up some confusion.

3 years is just cruel. they should just close PBE registrations, then open them only when they need testers.

also, rito should just tell us what kind of tester criteria they're looking for.

First i want to thank you for giving some feedback, and letting is know that there was a bug with the system.

I think what would help is a little clarity on why people aren't approved, maybe an email with the rejection code ie: no need for additional testers at this time, or account is not in good standing etc...

I know that's asking for a little programming time just for admin, but that extra bit of clarity would be wonderful. So we could know why we weren't approved for a pbe account.

Eh... I'm not sure I trust RedMercy on his view of balance or strength on anything but assassins. His track record for his analysis on champs that aren't under that class isn't that great (Like his most recent being him thinking Top Tahm is trash...).

I love seeing RedMercy being put out there, he's such a good YouTuber and when he does stream, it's fun to watch. He's so informative and really helps people learn the game better. By far one of my all-time favorite players, I've been watching him since he first put up his Sona Tutorial video back in like, beta or season 1 xd

id be nice if riot made a new map like someone cough smite cough were there were actually players on them like cough smite cough and we weren't allitem 3070 our money out to riot for broken champs that then get nerfed after a week like ekko and champs that are extremely weak like bard but it would be nice to see a different map that had players on them like a arena game mode anyone cough smite cough and to stop stealing ideas from games that are just as good if not better than u cough smite cough because we all know that u stole the champion mastery system from smite and that u just want all our money, and while your in the stealing mood from smite why don't u just take the pack that unlocked every champion and every future one to so were not spending hundreds of dollars on champs and skins if were new and rich..... also cough smite cough
