I see alot fo people play Shaco, and they often just run the game for whatever team they are on.. I also see a lot of my friends climbing the ladder with him and im stuck in gold 1.. How are they doing it? I can't seem to get the hang of it. Any help needed, thanks :)

I just finished my placements so I may not be the most qualified person to help out, I've heard that Shaco really starts to fall off around higher gold and early plat, due to people actually knowing how to expose his weaknesses and play against him, not to mention people actually upgrade trinkets higher up and buy pinks.

If you're hell bent on it though, knowing where the enemy jungler is going to start so that you can pull off the infamous level 2 gank is a great start to any game, after that it's just trying to maintain farming and ganking, go for the obvious ganks, buy wards, etc.

Try looking up the user "Shaclone" on youtube. He's a Master Tier Shaco only player, and he mostly makes funny videos, but he does have guides, and also the different ways he plays Shaco. I have over 80 games on Shaco with a 70% win. I'm Gold 4. I haven't played him recently though, I feel like his playstyle wasnt that great against the cinderhulk meta in the beginning, but I think he is still viable now. It is really based on getting your team ahead and then split pushing and because of that early pressure your team can win a 4v4 or hold off as 4v5 under a tower with waveclear if you have it. At least that's how I played it and with the most success, team fighting isn't his strong point, but if you take advntage of the fog and your invisibility you can execute the carries as an engage due to the high burst damage. I think Shaco is just more of a knowledge based champ and it may just take you a while to get all the information, how much damage you can do with your typical build and how much you can take, etc. Good luck man!

cause ur cool ima give u tips all thaat i can remember ok... 1)upgrade w first go to red/blue buff and start planting boxes at 56 secs in game 4 boxes will be planted and u dont have to waste smite reuse w and get a couple back stabs to finish off the buff, rush over to enemy buff red or blue they should have low health remember start on the opposite side of their enemy jg if their ad go blue first if ap go red then rush, before starting go to river plant a box then ward if before 5 sec u can still get 4 boxes up at buff. 2) same idea w first u can scout whatever just put 2 boxes on toad or the rock dudes either or use smite first thing, plant the net 2 boxes in front of corresponding buff red or blue by lvl 2 upgrade e, e the buff lead to the boxes and finish it off .run over to the other buff on ur side and get a double, 3)between the intersection of the rock dudes and red place a box go around where the bush is plat another before wraths/chickens it traps the enemy jg and u get a kill if they try to gank u have ways of escaping 4)w may be used to block skill shot with timing its visible for a sec so it may be targeted, 5) ult may be used to jump over walls hard to do but possible, 6)use ult to check bushes seems like a waste but when enemys go missing and u need to scout its better for ur clone to be jumped 7) boxes may be used to target/hit turrents its a little extra firepower 8)steal all the enemys buffs but leave 1 little guy or creep they dont respawn unless the camp has been cleared 9) when out of mana or low on health run over to enemy red or blue buff smite it and leave u get instant regen 10)u can still solo drag lvl 6 box the drag e it, use ult put clone behind drag and u in front switch off to take some damage off the clone and smite the drag u can solo it but will be left with low health and is risky if they have a good jgr, 11) here is a tip q run to the enemy behind him lol plant a box ult then e, save e because q a is on cooldown, if u saved q its a easy way to escape if their team mates try to save him, 12) bait really really hard to do but what u do is plant 3 boxes like anyware but close together when ur on low heath bait him to the boxes by recalling in front of him he walks to the boxes then dies careful of distance or u will die 13)q can jump over walls 14) run one way when they get close q and run back 15)ult can block any ult like karthus or zeds ult if timed right 15) risky but run over to enemys jg carefully plant ur boxes 4 in beg of game where the jg should be pref the intersections warning if they see u plant it they go around wrong placement u waste ur time 16) when one of ur allies push towards a tower and ur near go behind the tower and stop the minions really useful if enemys on low health helps ur team get a turr and a kill remember ur minion placement mimics theirs, 17) enemy team at drag if u have it warded in time q over and smite it u may die or may not but u still get the drag mayb a kill, 15) when taking a turr plant boes at intersection in jg if enemys approach u get a heads up and a way to escape, 18) low on health? hide in a bush ult send ur clone someware u would usually go, then q towards the enemy and get some distance 19) if theres only the nexus or inhib left just q just before u enter the base ult then w when by the objective the box helps u escape q gives less time to react ult speeds things up 20) turrent almost gone? ult use ur clone as a meat shield and get the turrent thanks to shaclone and pink lol i need tips as well got any bro? be nice if u share them lol hope this helps u out
