I wondered if a dervish blade can work well on Shen for split pushing against heavy ability power teams? It gives attack speed for pushing, magic resist for some defense, and 10% cooldown so you can dash more.
I rarely see dervish blade used. Is it not good right now?
I always build Shen full tank, and when I split push, I rely on my auto attack passive damage as well as minion wave damage to knock down the turrets. They go down pretty quickly mid-late game.
Though, I haven't tried that item on it... sounds good though.
It's only available on the Twisted Treeline and Crystal Scar. You can't buy it all on Summoner's Rift.
use sunfire cape to split push. I've also seen people build zz'rot portal from time to time
are all good items for shen.
Dervish blade is only available on certain maps, so if you are playing on SR, you can't buy it.
Good alternatives to it that I've seen work would be 
may also work, but it's a pretty big investment for strictly giving split push power, where the other items give a lot more PvP strength (although the resists are really good).
