Intermediate bots.

I know level 13 (my level) is actually a fairly low level, but facing beginner bots is getting pretty grindy. At what point is a good time to go from beginner to intermediate bots. Should I keep fighting beginner bots. I don't want to make people more likely to lose matches because of me. To give you an idea of where I am.... -For the past 4 levels, I've only fed the enemy team once and that was because of a clunky mouse, and accidentally following an enemy into a turret. (when I was clicking away from the enemy, but the mouse wasn't registering, as a result I got a new mouse.) -I place wards regularly. -occasionally I die more when learning new champions.

Where do you think I should be by now?

Just move on to the intermediate bots. Most of the people there have a decent idea of what they are doing, making it impossible to lose the match no matter how bad you do. You'll learn more there.

I also suggest watching the LCS. You'll learn a lot just watching them play at the professional level.

I play bots alot. Riot does throw me some noobs in my game every once in a while. If the intermediate bots are too much for you ask your teammates for advice. And tell your teammates in pregame lobby "this is my first time against intermediate bots" and they should open up and give you tips or tell you where they need you. Or they will dodge. If they dodge good riddance. Ask not to have a jungler if you are top lane so you're not 1v2.

What to expect: Bots now use summoner spells. Exhaust and ignite especially. Intermediate bots have Korean-like reflexes. They will dodge skill shots super easy. Intermediate bots don't know how to orb walk. Aim skill shots when they are midway through with an auto attack or a skill shot. Bots are programmed with poor habits. They will chase you long distances while your winions take out their nexus turrets. You can exploit this. Karthus bot is an asshole. He only ults if he can kill someone. Always back if below 50 % hp and Karthus is on the enemy team. Alistar bot is the most useless AI champion in intermediate bots. He will headbutt you to safety on many occasions. The bots only ult when they smell blood. When they ult they all ult, it is overkill a majority of the time. Learn how to CSunder tower: For melee minions 2x turret shots then attack once yourself to get the CS. Casters attack once, let the turret shoot once then attack a second time for the kill. Canon mions have too much hp for there to be a set in stone surefire way to CS them. Warding is nice but knowing the bot tendencies is better. At 11:00 either top or bot lane will roam mid lane and stay there. Can happen sooner if a tower falls. Don't chase for kills, it will make you underleveled. Ping MIAs even if the MIA entails that the other bot just died. Try to take dragon anyway just because the buffs are helpful.

If you can bring in a friend who can beat the bots on a regular basis. It helps having someone to rely on. And teleport is useful so that in case you do die you can get back to lane and not lose as much cs or experience.

And it is possible to lose to bots. Usually happens when the experienced player is in the support role or if you have 2+ disconnected players.

No one worries about bot games, feel free to go play intermediate.

Or real people. The habits players learn when facing bots actually hurt them when against real people. Real players do not play like bots. Anyways, you won't be the only noobie around, though there will undoubtedly be smurfs. You're probably better off just /ignoring the people who insult you.

Play inter. There's still going to be 30's there to help you out. Mute anyone that gets toxic over bots, and don't let them get to you. That's probably true in normal/ranked too, but at least those people kind of have a point there. Ask lots of questions, and don't get discouraged if people ignore you or give you grief.

Worst case scenario: go back to beginner if you hit a losing streak, or if some troll gets to you. Burn down some games, get your mojo back, and get back into intermediate. Pretty sure you get better XP/IP there anyway. Not much I can say that hasn't been said in that gigantic post by TouchpadExpert. Read that, or if you already have, read it again. Good stuff there.
