Just a stupid question...
im on lvl22 and its getting really grindy for me to lvl. should i stop playing with intemediate bots and start playing with real people, or should i buy another xp booster instead?

Play with real people so you can get used to playing with them.
I played with bots till level 20... and then had a RUDE awakening when I went to people and got trashed. Get to PVP sooner rather than later... use the MUTE button liberally as you'll have smurfs playing with and against you that will get abusive.
How I started out: Beginner bots until I could comfortably beat them with any team. Intermediate bots until I could win with a reasonable team. PVP
PVP happened around level 8 or 9.
You get reduced XP and IP from beginner bots after level 10. Reduced from intermediate after level 20. That's a guide on when to stop playing there.
PVP will be a lot harder. Especially if you don't play every role. Get in there early. Try different roles early. Get stomped hard. Have teammates yell at you for feeding. Learn what you're doing wrong (often, you're chasing for kills you don't have, and die as a result [also playing too aggressive in lane]), fix it, and get better. You'll only get better once you go to PvP.

Lvls 20-30 are the same as lvl's 1-20. I'd reccomend you start playing with real people anyways, as their is only so much you can learn from bots.
you should have stoped playing bots at lv 5-10
The sooner you start playing against players the better imo.
Bots can be handy in the beginning while you get comfortable with movement and the controls and such. But after that you should move on to players.
voted real people, but bear in mind, they can be verbally abusive, unlike bots
edit: i started playing pvp as soon as possible, which is level 5 i think? cant remember. but yeah, it was rough. in the end though, i think it turned out better that i started off against people rather than grinding bots. its toxic and rough with smurfs, but you learn faster imo
Yea. I think real people. For a break if nothing else. You can always choose XP boost later if real people don't work for you.
