Full tank or item 3071 and then tank. I guess item 3074 also fits but it is probably just bad compared to cleaver. Example taken from champion.gg item 3709 item 3071 item 3111 item 3143 item 3065 item 3026. Warrior is also an option but cinderhulk helps the tank plan better.

Also the above build has a 54% win on 1200 games, compared to the one without item 3071 (instead choosing another tank item), which boasts a lower 48% win rate in 1800 games.

On your first back, I suggest getting a ranger's trailblazer and some pots. If you can afford it, boots or wards are also good.

From there, DON'T try to get your jungle enchantment. Instead, try to get the pickaxe to build into the ravenous hydra once you get enough gold. From there, you want to see what kind of damage the enemy team is building and build accordingly. Randuins is always a good buy and for AP damage I suggest spirit visage. If you still need more magic resist, go merc treads, or if they just have lots of cc. Otherwise, go ninja tabi or boots of mobility (if you're split pushing do mobility).

It's good to build one more damage item, and I prefer blade of the ruined king. It gives you awesome AS and life steal, and a pretty good active.

So far, it looks like:

Hydra, Blade of Ruined King, Randuins, Spirit Visage, Merc Treads, and Ranger's Trailblazer.

To finish off, upgrade your jungle enchantment to the green one (I think it's called cinderhulk, not sure). It will make you more tanky for your team, and you'll end up dishing nice damage anyway due to two damage items. You could sacrifice blade of the ruined king for a guardians angel, though. Wouldn't do as much damage and wouldn't be as sustaining in fights, but you will get some more tank stats and be generally harder to kill.

I don't suggest AP Rek'Sai. She only has one ability that scales with AP. Much more useful to go as tank/bruiser build.
