I always loved Sivir, but always failed so hard with her. After, I started playing her mid, with good outcome, and I realized I just hated duo bot. I rather always hated the meta in general and did often very well broken that. However, people don't trust out-of-meta pick and for this I have to wait 20 minutes in teambuild for a team (and I often am kicked because bot lane leaves when they see an ADC mid). I just played Sivir because of her safety with the shield and her pushing power and did well versus and in my last two games without my jungler. What do you think about ADC mid? What do you think about the meta?

ADC mid tends to be weaker than most AP mids because they lack burst and range. ADCs are more about sustained damage, but they can't really put that damage down against an AP mid without receiving significant counter harass. This is why ADCs usually aren't seen mid.

But hey, if you can make it work then all the power to you. Just make sure you have a few successful normals under your belt before you try it in ranked. No one wants to lose their promotionals because someone decided to try an untested strategy.

One of the reasons that assassin type champion goes mid is because they need to get to higher level asap. Also they can roam and assassinate quickly.
