I suck as a jungler and well also Evelynn in general.

I can't help it though, she is fun bruuuuh I love her kit. I want to keep playing her! I am totally eager to learn! Any tips on both jungling and playing Eve?

How does one gank?

Glad to hear you like her kit. :)

Start with learning how to clear the jungle with the best balance of speed and health remaining in the early game. (Video displays some tricks that can help and there is a link to one from earlier in the season; also, it includes the runes and masteries I use)

Practice in custom games and bot games until you can do camps in an effective manner while watching the state of the rest of the game so you can be planning what to do next. Much of Evelynn's power budget is in the strategic potential of using her stealth correctly, so planning is especially important for her. And practice starting from both sides of the jungle without a leash, as keeping the enemy from knowing where you are until you have finished clearing is the best defense against being invaded by champions like LeeSin and Nidalee .

^ Has a fairly good guide on ganking. There are a few things to add to it though. First is if the enemy laner has an escape, then it is often necessary for your ally to bait them into using it to start a fight before you go in (this is always good unless your laner gets killed or taken too low to help before you reach the fight, your ganks have a much higher chance of working if the laners are fighting when you engage compared to when you start the fight regardless of whether or not they have an escape). Second is that learning to use your stealth to reach bushes or hide around corners so as to get closer without being seen than her passive normally allows for. Third is if you have summoner 4 , you will want to be able to quickly (like instantly) judge whether or not it is worth flashing after an enemy if they use flash to escape to secure the kill.

Beyond that it is about learning to know which lanes will give your team the biggest advantage for helping, which ones have low risk of you or your laner dying, and which ones you have a good chance at getting a kill. This however requires playing a lot of games to get a good feel for.

Above all else you want to make sure your ganks have a good out come. Do not worry about trivial matters like who gets the kill if there is a chance that the enemy might get away or get a kill themselves.

Please feel free to ask me about anything you would like to hear more about.

Something you need to learn when you play eve is how to find and clear wards. Normal wards may not affect her that often but if your enemy team is smart enough to get a few pink wards around their lanes you need to find them and kill them. This is because eve relies entirely on her passive to gank properly. She no longer has cc and has a sub par gap closer. Another thing to think about is if the team mate you are ganking for has any cc. It is a lot easier to get a successful gank off as eve is the person you are ganking is slowed or stunned.

I can help with this quite a bit as one of my mains is Evelynn. Starting off normally with a Hunters Machete in one hand and some Health Potions in the other, Head off to Blue Buff and wait near the end to smite it, as it gives mana back when you do, starting with E then Q then W You want to max Q first, and max W Last. Build a Skirmisher Saber and pick up some Health Potions with your left over gold, then work your way to a **Blade of the Ruined King **, After that, get the Warrior enchantment on your Skirmisher Saber. Now would be a good time to get Mobility boots, After this, Get a Trinity Force, it will make you do massive damage at this point in the game, but make sure you have the other items as this won't do much very early for you. The last two item are changed depending on the current state of the game, but I personally prefer more lifesteal so I build Bloodthirster and a Ravenous Hydra, Then top it off with getting Alacrity on the boots to counter act the base move speed, And also upgrading my Trinket

Here is the build Order: item 1039 item 2003 -> item 3715 item 2003 -> item 3153 -> item 3714 -> item 3117 -> item 3078 -> item 3072 -> item 3074
