Glad to hear you like her kit. :)
Start with learning how to clear the jungle with the best balance of speed and health remaining in the early game. (Video displays some tricks that can help and there is a link to one from earlier in the season; also, it includes the runes and masteries I use)
Practice in custom games and bot games until you can do camps in an effective manner while watching the state of the rest of the game so you can be planning what to do next. Much of Evelynn's power budget is in the strategic potential of using her stealth correctly, so planning is especially important for her. And practice starting from both sides of the jungle without a leash, as keeping the enemy from knowing where you are until you have finished clearing is the best defense against being invaded by champions like
and

^ Has a fairly good guide on ganking. There are a few things to add to it though. First is if the enemy laner has an escape, then it is often necessary for your ally to bait them into using it to start a fight before you go in (this is always good unless your laner gets killed or taken too low to help before you reach the fight, your ganks have a much higher chance of working if the laners are fighting when you engage compared to when you start the fight regardless of whether or not they have an escape). Second is that learning to use your stealth to reach bushes or hide around corners so as to get closer without being seen than her passive normally allows for. Third is if you have
, you will want to be able to quickly (like instantly) judge whether or not it is worth flashing after an enemy if they use flash to escape to secure the kill.
Beyond that it is about learning to know which lanes will give your team the biggest advantage for helping, which ones have low risk of you or your laner dying, and which ones you have a good chance at getting a kill. This however requires playing a lot of games to get a good feel for.
Above all else you want to make sure your ganks have a good out come. Do not worry about trivial matters like who gets the kill if there is a chance that the enemy might get away or get a kill themselves.
Please feel free to ask me about anything you would like to hear more about.
