i always wonder, what makes a good comp in league of legends?
the answer would be "good amounts of cc, ap, wombo combos, and ad." Although this may be true, there has to be a science far more complex behind it.
So leave any suggestions or what you think makes a strong team comp.

Synergy. Although in anything but high level of play, personal champion mastery matters more than synergy most of the time.
Well, I think a good comp is mainly anything with a uniform focus. Did your midlane just pick Xer? Perhaps we should focus more around sustain and poke. Did the ADC just lock in Sivir? Perhaps we should pick a hard engage team. Is that a Yasuo in toplane? Get all the knock-ups!
Generally, this is the best composition strategy in my opinion. Orianna, Malphite, Yasuo, Ashe, and Thresh make a strong comp because of their AoE. Synergy is key! Perhaps my answer it too vague but compositions in broad in variety and can all be effective.
i think good team comps have to deal with a balance of short range and longe range dmg/cc/survivalbility
