ASKING FOR RANKED TIPS! Please and thank you

I enjoy playing ranked because of the difficuly of the games. The challenge is fun, and helps me learn quickly. My original placement in ranked was Silver 5. I was doing fine, but than suddenly started losing, got demoted to Bronze, than demoted AGAIN to bronze II.

I see much more toxic players in bronze. People also don't seem to think like a team. I try to promote teamwork, I get flamed and trolled because "they play solo".

So I'm asking how to carry a non cooperative team to victory, and/or how to MAKE them cooperate.

I really feel like Bronze is Hell. I'd like to get out of it, as well as be a very valuable asset to me team, to help with victory even the team is behind or if there is a troll.

As many tips as possible, and dont be afraid to make them long; I have patience.

Thanks

To get tier dropped you have to be a full tier below in mmr i.e. Silver V mmr to drop from gold V. In terms of getting teams to work together I notice in bronze people will listen to you probably 50-75% of the time if you get ahead in lane and shit rainbows for an attitude. The second part is important. A lot of good mechanics players are super rude and people react poorly. If you're really positive and polite to the team (i.e. I'll rotate bot after I take this tower and we can dive them to make your lane easier instead of Jesus just play safe till I come not and kill them for you, I'll carry you if you just stop feeding) AND you are doing well enough for your team to trust you aren't worse than them at the game, usually people follow what you say in bronze.

Most important is to realize your team will make a lot of mistakes. Watch for these ant try to make them useful. Adc pushing a side lane w/ no vision? Go hop in a bush w/ ahri, sweep it and assassinate whoever comes to kill the Adc.

There is no way to force a team to work together, But most of the time just pinging and telling people things is more then enough to get them moving in the right direction. " Lets take tower/dragon/objective" " Hey we have strong team fights lets group" stuff like that.

The best thing you can do is practice in normal games. Learn how to consistently win your lanes and know how to last hit minions.

This is probably not what you want to hear, but;

I would just take a break from ranked and work on getting better at the game. Without seeing a replay I couldn't tell you what all the causes are, but you play Olaf over 2/3 of the time and these are your stats (usually I'd say stats are unimportant, but these are extreme)

W/L - 9/21 K/D/A - 2.5/9.9/3.9

Your KDA ratio on your main champion is about .65, which is really bad to put it bluntly.

If you keep playing ranked without making improvements to your gameplay you're just going to continue to drop.

EDIT: Your stats on all the other champs you play are equally bad so it's not just Olaf - again, I'm not saying this to be mean, but to point out that you're probably placed ahead of where you should be and are going to continue to fall.

I see a lot of basic problems just from your op.gg profile.

Vision: You bought 1 ward in your last 20 games, no pink wards, never upgrade trinket. You use your trinket on average about once every 10 minutes. This absolutely needs to improve. You should be upgrading that trinket a lot more and using it constantly, buying extra wards, and buying pink wards.

CS: Low. This can be because you need to concentrate more on last hitting, but it can also be a symptom of simply getting annihilated in lane.

Deaths: High. This can also be a symptom of getting annihilated in lane and then not having any way to survive later, but you can always learn to play more conservatively from behind so that losing lane doesn't automatically mean you feed all game.

Items: REALLY needs work. You seem to go completely without boots in about a third of your games, and your upgrade is almost always Boots of Swiftness. You should always have boots before or around the time you complete your first item, and you should look to upgrade it before finishing your second item. Ninja Tabi or Merc Treads are much better than Swiftness for you. You build a Titanic Hydra or Ravenous Hydra in every game as top Olaf, and that's not a good idea. Grab a Black Cleaver instead and you will see your ability to fight your opponent go way up. You do not need a Hydra to clear out minions. Get tanky items after Black Cleaver, like Randuin's, Sterak's Gage, Dead Man's Plate, Frozen Heart. Never Bloodthirster.

I see more wins in your recent games than you used to have, which means that you are getting closer to your appropriate MMR. You'll start experiencing some games where you don't get completely stomped from start to finish. Feel free to keep playing ranked if you want to learn by playing hard fights, but understand that you do need to learn more about the game if you want to be able to compete. Watch some streams, watch some Olaf videos, and consider recording your games so that you can review them or have others review them. Also consider going into custom 1v0 games to practice last hitting in a controlled environment so you'll do it better under pressure.

Carrying out of bronze is simple. Main thing to remember is this is solo queue. Stop relying on your team to carry you and youll win a lot more. Play champs like trynd, noct, aatrox, yi, champs who can split push very well and 1v1 almost anyone. People in gold even dont even notice when you take half there base. You could probably take an entire lane of towers and there nexus by split pushing in bronze

I have tried to carry bronzes recently on my smurf acct, I can go 12-1 while rest of my team feeds 7+ deaths. It is not possible to win these games. You don't even need teammates to get kills just to apply pressure, but they can't even do that.

Anyway, as a carry I have found the one thing you don't want to do is team fight. Because you have 4 fed opponents that will annihilate your team in 1 second and if you play a carry you need them to absorb the CC. SO you end up just idling until your teammates die and then you can't really fight 1v4 when they are all coordinated.

So if you carry you want to constantly apply pressure to keep your enemy from coordinating and also to draw enemies away from your feeders and keep them off balance. You can win fights skirmishing and catching them out of position. SO uh to carry you actually want to stay away from your feeders even when they complain for you to group.
