Smurfs or people who have gotten out of low elo, Tips needed!!

Okay.

I have a HUGE problem.

I used to play aggresively, but have recently changed my playstyle up to sustaining lane, warding, and playing safe early.

And it always works very well!! I cs, poke, tend to win trades, and avoid early deaths from my now safe play style. THAT IS until the entire enemy team or a majority of them all gank me and dive me under turret and kill me.

What do I do in this situation? It's such a huge problem. My early is always great until they consistantly gank my lane because they cannot kill me alone due to my safe playstyle.

The ganks are a hufe pro lem.

I main Mordekiaser and Olaf, run movespeed quints, get boots earlt notmally, and ward much more than I used to.

I just cant escape those 3vs1 or 4 vs 1 early ganks. AT ALL.

Playing safe doesn't win you games, playing smart does. You can play smart and play extremely aggressive, as long as you know you can come out ahead. If you get a lead you have to use it, not continue playing safely and not using your lead.

  1. Pick easier champs. You're bronze 5 and your win rate is abysmal, which tells me you probably lack some mechanics. Make it easy on yourself and play easier things while you build the muscle memory that you need. Find good guides from Diamond or higher players to learn the combos. Play these:

Top: Renekton Jax DrMundo

Mid: Brand Lux Malzahar

Jungle: Jax XinZhao Volibear

Support: Thresh Annie Sona

ADC: Jinx Varus Ezreal

None of these are particularly hard. You don't have to focus much on mechanics, just focus on playing. Favor items with mana or mana regen for your mages so you don't struggle managing your mana. Or at least double up on Doran's Rings. Pick which of those 3 champs in each category that you like and spam it. You'll be alright

Where are you dropping your wards? If you are placing in the river bushes next to lane, those are basically the "too late" bushes. By the time you see them coming, you're dead anyway.

Keep an eye on your minimap. When several enemies are all missing at omce, play much safer. If you suspect they are near your lane, just back off. It is better to let them take a turret while your team free pushes the other two lanes, instead of dying and letting them take the yurret anyway.

If you can snowball your lane, you can likely snowball the game as well. A lot of players, especially in lower elos, will likely have infighting in their team. Keep a positive in your chat, and win hard. Chances are whoever you are playing againsy is arguing with their team, which means you and your whole team is more focused than they are.

Olaf is an awful champion to main at your level I"m sorry to say. Olaf relies heavily on being ahead or his purpose is nil. The idea of him is to be this fearsome unstoppable berserker that can't be stopped from killing the backline. If you fall behind though you cannot do that. Therefore his teamfight presence sucks. Even at higher levels you have this liability since he lacks CC.

Champions that are good at low levels are the ones that normally have great fight presence.

Also Mordekaiser is pretty lousy in a solo lane.

I see 3+ people coming for me (thanks wards) I just spam ping assistence at the other turrets or drag. Playing the distraction can help you win games (objective over kills).

Also your three main champions are Morde, Olaf and Heimer. None of them have reliable CC. Meaning if your spamming those guys it's highly likely your screwing over your team comp.

I used to main Garen, picking him all the time. Problem is he has to have a team built around him. I started playing Wukong top and because of his AoE knock up he fits into any team and is easy to build around. I only pick Garen normally if it's a match up I'm not comfortable Wukong can win.
