Like, good shacos. Whenever I play jungle against shaco, I get caught out, die, give him buffs, repeat. When i'm in a lane, he usually pulls off an amazing gank and kill me and/or my teamates. In teamfights, he'll just delete our fed squishies before the fight, allowing his team to fall on us. Like... Yeah, pinkwards, sure. Except you can't put them everywhere and if you just camp where they are, the ennemy will get objectives. What do?
Shaco, like Lee Sin, is a good early game invader... but also susceptible to counter invades in a huge way. Good team work is critical, for me if I'm playing against him I wax Sun Tzu and expect the attack so I save my ward for when I'm crossing mid lane as that's typically when he'll engage on you is when you do your opposite camp.

If you are jungling you should deviate from your normal jungling path. Start on the opposite site of the jungle or kill the buff monster first (instead of krugs or gromp) to avoid being invaded at level 2.
If you are laning, play very safely and try to freeze the minion wave outside your tower as often as possible. Ward deeply so you can see him approaching the lane before he stealths.
Alright... So either starting with the buff on the side I wouldn't usually start or avoiding that buff.
What about later, in teamfights, if, let's say, he keeps ganking other lanes (that, in this scenario, wouldn't play safe and give him a few kills, possibly feeding him) ?
