Suggestions for support Lulu runes?

I main support Lulu, and up until now I've just been using my rune page with 33 armor and 12 magic resist, but I have 26,000 IP saved up so I figured I'd boost my early game Lulu a bit. So I've been looking online at guides and what not, but I don't find any that overly interest me. I have it built to 8.2 armor and 12 magic resist so far. This leaves my Seals and Quints open. Looking in the store, I've narrowed it down to CDR quints and hybrid penetration seals. Do these seem viable? Should I get some AP? I'd love to hear some suggestions / ideas. What do you guys have for support runes? Thanks! :)

I main support Lulu and I know a few players who play her... but it is a bit of play style dependent. I go Hybrid Pen marks, Hp Seals, Armor quints, and AP Glyphs I have a friend who has success with Movespeed quints, hybrid marks, armor seals, and mr glyphs I think aphromoo runs hybrid pen marks/ ad marks (ad marks are if you want to shove more/ auto harrass), 3 mana regen glyphs and the rest flat MR glyphs, armor quints, and hp seals.

I'm not a Lulu expert, but I feel this set-up should help you.

Try running: 9 Hybrid Pen Marks, 9 Health Seals, 9 Magic Resist Glyphs, and 3 Armor Quints

Some random tips about Lulu:

  • Start Spellthief but do not upgrade into Frostfang (rush Sightstone ASAP)
  • Harass with your autos -- it will hurt with your Hybrid Pen
  • Use your Q conservatively and try to follow up with an AA or two to min-max your damage
  • Deny the other ADC his / her cannon minion with your shield

Edit: You can also opt for the 9 Magic Pen, 9 Armor, 9 MR, and 3 AP Quints if you are short on IP.

I usually run armor reds and yellows, mr blues and flat mana regen quints. Get all the mana regen!

id have hp seals over armor. imo early hp > armor and rush 1.5k hp asap before getting armor
