LaBlanc vs Morde?

Hey guys. I love LeBlanc for her mobility, and her assassin potential, however I just played a game vs mordekaiser and got destroyed. In an effort to search for how to survive the lane, I search google and youtube, but all the results are about when lablanc still had her silence, which she no longer has. Can someone please tell me what to do?

Any time I came in to last hit, i got hit by his aoe spell damage. If I attacked, not only did i usually get hit by his shield and sometimes another spell, but his health went down far slower than my mana bar. I was 0-1-1 and he was 2-1-0 when the lane phase ended, but he had ~60 or 70 more creep kills than I.

If I am not supposed to win this lane, at least tell me what to do to not lose so bad im useless all game. Should I max w and just wave clear? Should i ignore the lane and gank others katarina style? Or maybe its a rune/mastery/build problem and i should have stomped him. Thanks in advance for the help :)

Ask for a gank from your jungler if u can't trade with him. Otherwise, you should max Q first for more single target dmg in this match-up and want to force trades with mordekaiser when his E is on cooldown since its his only ranged spell you should be worried of. If he builds MR , rush an early void staff.

Position where his AOE can't hit both you and your minions. This will reduce the amount of shield he can get with a given spell.

He WILL push- he doesn't have a choice. The best way to deal with morde is to instantly trade with him when he walks into lane, before his shield is up, and if it goes well, zone him away from creeps and shield. You have ranged aas, he doesnt- abuse that at level 1. This may or may not work out perfectly, but any damage you deal to his hp is pretty much permanent- his spells have hp costs that offset his hp regen until 6. The pots he will have will only deal with those costs, and do little about any dmg you actually deal to him, rather than to his shield.

If you don't get a highly successful level 1, you're going to have a hard time killing him/zoning him. You'll likely be better off farming. If your lvl 1 went well, maxing q and using e to get the 2x dmg is the best way to go- don't distort directly on him, you'll eat a $#!+ ton of dmg if you do. Maxing q is fine, maxing E is actually highly underrated. If you can land it, it's the best option, but is less reliable than q.

i can answer as a Morde player; Morde does very well against LB, so you are at a disadvantage here. In addition to the strat every champion should take against Morde (call for ganks), i recommend taking advantage of LB's mobility and CONSTANTLY roam, whenever you can. Morde will probably follow you, but he's slower than an asthmatic middle schooler, and as long as you don't overstay he shouldn't be able to stop you. You'll probably lose mid turret this way, but if you can get bot lane (and maybe to plane) snowballing it will be worth it, plus it'll help with dragon control
