How do I play jax?

Everytime he's on free week, I play him. Everytime, I feed. I feel like playing him again, so I bought him. I'd like to be able to play correctly as him. Is there any build I should follow? Any thing I should know that could potentially save me...?

I would rush a triforce, and I wouldnt recommend backing until you have enough gold for at least the phage. His passive gives you crazy attack speed, so focus building damage and health early game - items like BotRK and Tri will give you loads of attack speed anyway. I usually find that E>Q>E>W is a strong combo, as it gives you the stun and a chance to chunk a good portion of their health. Keep in mind his W is a great escape tool as you can jump to minions or wards or champs. If you ever find yourself in the middle of a fight and you're getting low, pop that E! You can get the stun off and secure a kill or get the hell out of there if you need to. Other than that, if you can cs well (and Jax is probably one of the easiest champs to get cs with in the game) than I think you should have a viable chance.

If you're still having trouble early game, mabye try and spam health pots? I've found out that having a ton of those on hand gives quite a bit of sustain when I play squishy early game champs like Jax, Kata, Akali, etc.

Hope it helped!

It's his Q which gives jump whatever.

To be succesful with JAx you'll need basics and that is :

1)passive laning (as he sux early game) 2) lasthitting (cuz he is one of the few true hypercarry who is insanely farm hungry).

W for autoattack resets. Dont forget to pop R be4 fightning. Use Q defensively if u need.

Cdr allways welcomed on jax.

You don't lose it, you'll just get the active benefit which is the bonus resist and armor to keep yourself alive longer.

As for ward-hopping even on ward range it worths it a lot of time. Enemy Udyr comes to gank? Put down a ward and jump to it, with this method you succesfully created a little bit of space which is not much but it's exactly enough to avoid a gank.

THis is just a simple example but everytime you are in a pinch and have to gtfo don't try to save that ward, use it that's why you got it for free :p
