Cho Gath's Rupture & Nunu

nope, cleanse and other CC removal effects do nothing against displacement abilities like Cho'gath's rupture or things like Blitz's hook. Tenacity doesn't work against it either.

I don't understand what nunu has to do with this post. But, you can't cleanse out of rupture since its a displacement CC (immune to cleanses) but you can cleanse the slow that immediately follows the knock-up. As for nunu, you can cleanse the slow on nunu's E but his ult will reapply the slow if you're still within the hitbox of the ult. If you want to completely block the spell (both the CC and dmg), you need either or a built-in spellshield like and have.
