How do you stop a Tryndamere?

I usually jungle, and I make a lot of effort to gank Tryndamere as many times as I can before he hits 6, but the outcome always seems to be the same, whether I make him go 0/5 before teamfights, or totally fail and accidentally feed him a double kill.

He gets an IE, a BotRK, a Static Shiv and some boots and just face rolls. Focus does nothing because of the ult. Spinning slash to hop walls and his heal makes him hard to catch and kill when the ult is over and dueling him at any point is pretty much out of the question.

How do I counter Trynd?

You really need a tanky champion dedicated to stopping him for the entire game, and you need said tanky champ to get a lead. I can beat Tryndamere as Garen if I get a lead on him, but if we go even or he gets a lead it's all over.

have u tried to smite tryndamere? have u tried to ignite tryndamere? why the fk are u ganking tryndamere anyway? Tryndamere is a late game wave pushing, tower fucking, hyper farming MONSTER yes, his early game is abit scary but thats not what you should be worrying about

Idk what kind of tryndamere you are dealing with but most tryndameres know exactly how badly they are at chasing and how bady cc screws them up.. which is why they honestly dont bother fighting you after lane phase Ironically this makes him even more terrifying as he carries games by taking objectives

Honestly? You take a stronger duelist/splitter and wipe the floor with him all game. Kite while he ults, then Ignite towards the end of it and re-engage, to keep him from healing and running. A good Fiora does this, I think.

You play Draft/Ranked and ban him. You can't counterbuild ADC build paths, regardless of what some of these fine folks have suggested.

pick nunu, and spam ice so he can't get away, look at him when he yells(can be tricky) so he can't attack->kill you have a top laner with damage, and have him stand back wile tryn ults, then just chase him down wile he slowly runs away.

it usually depends on if you have a champion who can 1v1 him under turret. if you have that then just force teamfights and when you see Tryndamere splitting, that 1 person recalls to defend while you continue to push. You should win the 5v4 and then your teammate should win the 1v1 with the help of the turret.

Highly recommend that your duelist takes teleport against tryndamere. People say ignite to kill him, and while that works it's much more valuable to have teleport so that you can force teamfights while still defending his split push. It's okay if he gets away from the 1v1 assuming your team won the 5v4 immediately prior and is taking objectives.
